About Us

Carl Mallory (Managing Director). Before we launched Mallory Custom Lighting in 2003, I published magazines. When this chapter ended, I joined forces with my father who had already been working in the lighting industry for a number of years. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Murano Glass lighting industry, and my fluent Italian (I grew up in Italy) helps me develop and maintain great relationships with the glass studios. For the last 12 years I have headed up our team that specializes in custom lighting projects and restoration work.

Loves – Gardening, sailing and walking the dog

Karen Mallory (Director) I take care of the operational side of the business, working closely with all our manufacturers and shippers. If you need an update on your order I will be on hand to assist. I went from part time to full time in the the business in 2005 when the business quickly expanded. I love my job, but would not mind it if I could find a bit more time for my girls and family!

Since our beginning in 2003, Mallory Custom Lighting has firmly established itself as the companion of discerning Interior Design clients seeking to compliment their projects with the best that Italian lighting can offer.

We are proud to have worked with hundreds of clients on custom projects, from simple and delicate Venetian chandeliers, to large architectural lighting installations, including complex Hotel chandeliers and clean angular modern lighting designs. This is thanks to our close relationships, cultivated over many years with expert Italian lighting designers and skilled lighting manufacturers.

You won’t find our products on the high street. We are proud to have sourced our knowledge and ranges through years of field work, by visiting all our manufacturers personally.
